MAI is not live yet. Right now this site does one thing: it lets you join the waitlist so we can tell you when it launches. This page explains, in plain English, exactly what that means for your data. No legalese, no hidden clauses.
What we collect
Your name and email if you join the waitlist. If you answer our research questions, whatever you choose to tell us there too. Every question is optional, and you decide how much to share.
The research questions
We ask a short, optional set of questions to learn what MAI should check first. Some touch on health and life stage — skin conditions, medication, whether you’re pregnant or breastfeeding. Those particular answers sit behind a separate tick box: if you don’t tick it, we never see them, and the questions asking for them are skipped entirely.
Your answers are used only to shape what MAI builds. They are never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for anything else. Leaving an email at the end of the questions is optional too, and only happens if you tick the box asking us to email you.
Why we collect it
To tell you when MAI is ready, and occasionally to share early-access news before launch. That is the only reason your email exists in our system. We will not use it for anything you did not sign up for.
Where it is stored
Your name, email, and any research answers you choose to share are stored securely in Notion, our workspace tool, and the site is hosted by Vercel. Both are established providers with their own security and data protections. We never sell your details, rent them, or share them with advertisers or anyone else.
Analytics
We use Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to understand how many people visit. It uses no cookies and collects no personal data, so there is nothing here that can identify you.
Your choices
You are in control of your details at all times. You can unsubscribe from any message we send, and you can ask us to delete your name and email from the waitlist entirely. Either way, just contact us and we will sort it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date at the top. When the full MAI product launches, it will have its own, more detailed privacy policy covering the profile you build inside the app.
